You Qiang / Sculptor , Taxidermist

I was born in a rural family in southern China. Because my home was near a river, I have loved fishing since I was a child, and some of my fondest childhood memories are of fishing. When I was ten years old, I could spend almost a whole day fishing with a fishing pole by the river.

In college, I studied environmental art and design, and sometimes I would go out to paint and sketch, but I would always bring my fishing rod with me, and there were even times when I fished all night in the reservoir with my friends. After entering society, I never worked in environmental art design, but went to a fishing tackle company to do fishing tackle design and opened a fishing tackle brick and mortar store, but I really wouldn’t work in business, and it didn’t take long for the fishing tackle store to be transferred by me. Then I was forced to work as a PR manager and media editor in a financial company, but even in different jobs,I never forgot my love for fish. I love to fish, I love to make some fish I like, I love to paint fish, and I love to make some sculptures related to fish. Now I set up a fish art studio, mainly around fish sculptures, scientific models and derivatives for museums and aquariums. I hope to provide quality art collections for hobbyists.
